Behind the Mission

The Miss Iowa Organization is the official state program of the Miss America Opportunity, providing scholarship and leadership development opportunities for young women across Iowa through Miss Iowa, Miss Iowa’s Teen, and Miss Iowa Rising Stars. Through these programs, participants gain valuable experiences that prepare them for success both on and off the stage.

Led by dedicated volunteers from diverse professional and personal backgrounds, the organization is united by a shared passion for creating opportunities for young women. Through scholarship, mentorship, service, and leadership development, we help participants build confidence, discover their potential, and make a meaningful impact in their communities.

We believe every young woman deserves the opportunity to grow as a leader, pursue her goals, and make a difference.
