The Miss Iowa Scholarship
Management Program is proud to sponsor the Miss Iowa Youth program that
is designed to help the participants grow and develop.
The program
promotes:

Scholastic excellence

Performance distinction
-
Healthy living
-
Community service
There are three separate titles
awarded during the Miss Iowa Youth competition.
To become a contestant in a Miss Iowa
Youth Pageant, a girl must be
- A citizen of the United States
- Reside or go to school in Iowa
- Meet the age requirements for the
level of competition.
- Li'l Miss must be between the
ages of 6 and 9 by June 1 of 2007
- Junior Miss must be between the
ages of 10 and 12 by June 1 of 2007
- Miss Iowa's Outstanding Teen
must be between the ages of 13 and 17 by June 1 of 2007. The
seventeen year old must still be a junior in high school and
not eligible to compete for Miss Iowa.
- Some Local Pageants have certain
residency requirements. Ask the contact person of the Local that
interests you.
It痴 Easy to Join the
Competition!
There are two types of opportunities to become a contestant.

You may enter and
win a Local Miss Iowa Youth competition to automatically become a
contestant
-
You may choose to
enter as an At Large contestant.
