Caitlin Crome, 17, Miss Greater Des Moines' Outstanding Teen, won the title of Miss Iowa’s Outstanding Teen 2019.  Caitlin attends Pleasant Valley High School in Bettendorf, Iowa.

Accomplishments: Two-time state high school softball champion; First place state high school dance team champion in Pom; 3rd place and 7th place at state high school dance team solo champion; Conference champion in high school girls track & field and softball; Top 5 placements in dance solo competitions; Scholarship recipient at national dance conventions.

Interesting Facts: Some interesting facts about her:  She loves to explore! She looks forward to being able to travel to new places, and experience new environments. She and her family love to try new foods and experience new cultures during their travels. One of her favorite foods is crab cakes and shark, even though she does not like seafood. Her all time favorite place to have visited is Aruba. The culture, people, climate, and the beauty of the country made it her most amazing destination. Who wouldn't want to jump off of a cliff into an underwater cave?

♦  A Miss Iowa’s Outstanding Teen contestant must be between the ages of 13 and 17 years old.
