
Diana
is an amazing young woman with many exceptional talents. As a
performer, teacher, scholar, business woman, athlete, volunteer,
talented speaker, entrepreneur, and mentor she has already achieved
many great accomplishments in her young life. Diana graduated from
the University of Iowa with Highest Distinction (4.0) in May 2007
with a double degree in Business Management and Performing Arts
Entrepreneurship. She was a member of the Golden Key International
Honor Society, President of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society, and
selected as Outstanding Senior in Business Management. For the
Class of 2007, Diana earned the highest academic average in the
Henry B. Tippie College of Business.
Diana started dancing at the age of three and
twirling at the age of four; she has won numerous state, regional
and national titles in both baton and dance. During her college
career, she entertained audiences of over 70,000 as the Hawkeye
Golden Girl (feature twirler) for the University of Iowa Diana has
made guest appearances at Walt Disney World, Chicago Bulls games,
and last year she danced on Broadway with Christina Applegate in the
musical Sweet Charity. Diana has also been featured in Fortune Small
Business Magazine for creating a successful business as a college
student in Iowa City called Diana's Golden Twirlers, an organization
that teaches children of all ages the art of baton.
